my housing area's leasing office gave me a ticket for parking my corolla in front of our driveway like that one night. No parking anywhere, Bimmer in the garage and Montero in the driveway. Parked sideways at the intersection of the driveway and road so I wouldn't be blocking a sidewalk by pulling in behind my montero. Sigh....

In Ottawa they do. It is spelled out that "you can't block a driveway not even your own".
Of course they don't really patrol the whole city but yeah. MAn you should seen me try to parallel park a cube van in La plateau. That shit was hard.
